Quinie

Quinie is the second mare I got. She is a very big girl, and stands at 17.1hh. She has a very laid back personality, and is quite happy to go with the flow. Quinie is not one for jumping, but will pull a cart, and absolutely loves out rides in the country. Quinie has only had one foal, sired by Plean Quenton, unfortunately at 7 months old he was put down because of a broken leg. This was a very sad moment for all of us at Nickweb Stud. Below is a picture of him, as we like to remember him, and his favorite cat, patches.

Donegal Josephine

“Jo” is our new edition to the Nickweb family. I am looking forward to spending some time with my new girl, who reminds me so much of my Olivia.

Donegal Orphan Annie

This is our newest edition to the Nickweb family. She was bought especially for Peri. And Kayla also loved her. We are looking forward to spending a lot of time with our new family members

Events

Here is a picture taken on Sunday at the Orchard’s Winter dressage champs. Olivia won Champion, Divine came second and Little Fern (Friesian x) came 3rd. Kayla backed and schooled Fern all by herself since the beginning, she has only ridden her 11 times in total, so they did really well.

So Frederica‘s due date was on the 1 October but she has had me on my toes waiting for her to foal for the last 3 weeks. She went 1 week over her due date but she started dripping milk properly Wednesday (6 Oct) night. So the Kids took the first shift till 12 and [...]
